"We currently employ Mr. Stefan Savides for all our bird taxidermy work...I would recommend him for first class work with complete confidence."

Richard N. Cabela, Cabela's Inc., Nebraska U.S.A.

"In my 25 years of carving, I've always tried to earn a reputation as having great anatomy and lifelike realism in my carvings...Stefan mounted (a) swan... for me to meet the deadline of the World Championship...The quality and accuracy of Stefan's work is superb."

Russell Martin, Jr., Best in World, 1999 Ward Foundation Wildfowl Carving Competition, Ocean City, Maryland U.S.A.

Stefan Savides looks upon every mount he prepares as a work of art. His work reflects that point of view. He has received many honors over the years but in 1999, he was acclaimed by his peer master taxidermists as the international Master of Masters, the highest world-wide recognition afforded to a taxidermist. His skills and sensitivity to the nature of the birds he preserves makes his work stand apart from the ordinary.

The underlying philosophy of his taxidermy is to apply the principles of design and to recognize the reality that each specimen has its own unique plus and minus points, variables which cause them to play an important role in the choice of a pose and setting.

A mount by Stefan Savides will serve as a beautiful visual centerpiece for many years, yet his fees are reasonable.

You can commission Stefan Savides to prepare and mount your specimen. Initially, you will want to know the fee, right? Well, let's start with the query form which is below. Here is how to handle that:

Step 1. Fill in your name and address, telephone number (so we can get in touch with you by phone), email address (so we can get in touch with you by email)...and the rest of the items. P.S. we never give anyone our customer or contact names.
Step 2. In the large comments box below, enter the type of bird specimen(s) you are interested in having mounted.
Step 3. Submit your query by pressing the "Submit" button. If you would like to redo your entries, press the "Reset" button. After you press the "Submit" button, the form will be emailed to Avian Design and Stefan will get back to you by telephone, or email, or snail mail. Easy.

I accept payment by check or money order, Visa or MasterCard.
