BREAKTHROUGH MAGAZINE ARTICLE
Stefan has written another article on design which appears in the current Winter issue of Breakthrough Magazine.. In it he discusses the disputed question of whether taxidermy is an art form or not. He presents what needs to go into a piece of taxidermy and explains the importance of each of the three components that should be present to gain the maximum attraction to a piece.

Avian Design Taxidermists Tackle Ostrich Hen

A Tall Job!

What does it take to beautify an Ostrich hen? Two taxidermists and a tall ladder! Lead Taxidermist Thomas Andreatta and Taxdermist Dustin Starr are pictured here with one of the tall avian visitors at Avian Design. Fortunately, the running Ostrich is beeing kept in check long enough for Thomas and Dustin to take care of all the details.

Thomas has been with Avian Design six years and Dustin for three years. Their work, whether eight feet tall or just inches from the ground, is always exemplary!
